Toil
Dependable control
Often the efficacy of herbicides and insecticides can be compromised by poor coverage of the target weed or crop. Toil is a 95% methylated rapeseed adjuvant oil designed for use in arable crops where the addition of an adjuvant oil is recommended. Designed to reduce drift and improve spreading, Toil helps to optimise the dose on the target and improve coverage leading to increase in the overall performance.
Key situations in which to use Toil
- Where the addition of an adjuvant oil is recommended on the plant protection product label e.g. with post-emergence sugar beet herbicides to optimise coverage
- With insecticides in Cereals, Oilseed Rape and Sugar Beet (as key examples) to optimise coverage and improve performance
- As a "natural" alternative to mineral and vegetable oil adjuvants
Dependable control
Key benefits
Ensures the full intended herbicide/insecticide dose reaches the target and optimises leaf coverage at application
Improves herbicide/insecticide retention and coverage on the leaf
Value in use
Increases the number of weeds/pests in contact with the herbicide/insecticide at application
Increases the area of leaf covered with the herbicide/insecticide spray, optimising weed/pest control
How to use Toil
- For use in a wide range of crops. Consult Interagro for the full list of approved crops
- Add first to the spray tank after water
Application rate per hectare
Use Toil at a rate of 0.5% of the final spray volume. The rate should not however be reduced below 0.75 L/ha for low volume applications
